Which one of these quotes would you use in a motivational speech?

Muffin Bom

I found 2 that I like;
1) Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall. or
2) Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.

All other suggestions are welcome! :) Thanks!!

I would choose quote #1. I don't know what the subject of your motivational speech is, but this quote starts it with a statement that would seem obvious although very seldom realized. To learn to crawl, walk, run, ride a bike or accomplish many other tasks, we must first fall. After a time, it is necessary to realize that falling is an inevitable part of life and cease to be afraid of it. Those who become accustomed to accepting defeat easily eventually stop trying to get back up. Those who have the fire to succeed recognized the risks and give them the respect deserved. They enter into any endeavor with the sure knowledge that if or when they fall, they will only have to get up one more time and move on.
Life simply put is to always pick yourself back up one more time than you fall.

What do women who have or are recovering from cancer or chemotherapy like to do for fun?

What kind of activities are women over 18 able to do while recovering from cancer? I work at a settlement school in KY, and we were going to provide room and board for women who have cancer or are in recovery this spring, kind of like a weekend retreat. Can they be social without being vulnerable to bacteria etc..? Do they even have the will to be social, go on hikes, crafts, and motivational speeches? Or would the majority prefer solitude?

Answer
It depends on the individual and how they feel on any given day. During chemo, I hiked, walked my dogs, went to parties and social events, worked on yard projects and rode my bike. I worked part-time and I also worked on a fundraiser for a non-profit I'm involved with. Some days I was up to it, others I wasn't. Sometimes I chose a less rigorous activity than I normally would. It just depended. I really don't think motivational speeches would be my thing though. I didn't like crowded situations.

Be sure to consider dietary restrictions and make sure you have lots of hand sanitizer and focus on keeping things clean.

When I look back, I had a life during that time, and it was a pretty good one. I just had to scale back a few things and say no to a few things.
