I totally disagree with that "35 calories per mile" theory. If two people the exact same weight ride for 10 miles - one rides at a 10 mph pace & completes it in one hour. The other rides at a 15 mph pace & completes it in 40 minutes. How the hell can person A burn the same calories as person B going 5 mph faster?
