I was wondering what you guys though about the Ducati Monster?? I ride a vulcan 800 and I love that bike! it is a cruiser so I am thinking of getting something sportier for next spring, I want something that looks good and handles well. As far as looks i really like the monster, but wanted to see what what you guys think about it.
Answer
Im currently riding an 800 DUCATI sport.. nice bike.. & when you look at the service costs are not a lot more expensive than the japanese bikes..
they have ample power from 1500 RPM all the way to 6500 RPM & will stand on the rear wheel just on acceleration.. depending on how big a bike you get the top end is going to be a lot more than your Vulcan... & everything happens a lot quicker... but a step from your 800 Kawasaki to the Monster 600 or 750 shouldn't be a problem..
HANDLING... fantastic compared to the Vulcan.. & brakes that will stand the bike on its front end..
but I am biased..lol

I want to start motocross, is a Stomp Superstomp 110cc a good enough bike.?
Q. Just wanted to know if the bike is good enough. If not what would be a good bike to start off with.
Answer
Okay,
This is the motorcycle racing section.
The Superstomp is NOT a racing bike. It is a Chinese knock off of a Japanese bike.
The Superstomp 110cc engine pumps out a massive 7hp.
A Yamaha YZ125 is pumping out 33hp.
Your Superstomp will get romped and stomped into the ground.
Besides being extremely weak, the Chinese knock off also does not have the quality, craftsmanship or attention to detail. The bike is not going to up to the rigors of a motocross track and will break - often. I have personally witnessed a Chinese bike snap in half off a table top jump. If you were going to be using the bike for trail riding, it would be ok, but it will not be ok on a motocross track.
Save your money and purchase a used Japanese or European bike. Ebay, Craigslist, CycleTrader and BikeFinds all have used bikes for sale.
