has anyone heard of these stories in troy ny - a girl murdered in devils kitchen or prospect park pool?

i heard two stories that i wonder if they are true. one is that a girl was murdered in the devils kitchen waterfalls in the bike path and the other is that a girl was murdered in the pool at prospect park in troy ny. is this true or does anyone have any more information

I live in the suburban twin cities and except for the weather ...namely winter ...i love it here ,the people are very friendly the schools are good,the park and recreation system are stellar,there are several lakes in and around the city,all have beaches and walking/biking paths, the nightlife is good ,we have pro sports teams and plenty of concerts and other events, but the taxes are high here as are the cost of homes, but it is still probably cheaper than Hartford.
