where can i buy i used street bike style moped?

ok, ive been looking for a moped for quite awhile, i would really like to get one styled after a street bike such as the derbi gpr, and the rieju rs2 matrix. I live in nj, so it has to be a 50cc, and i dont want to have to pay more than 2 grand. i have already tried craigslist and ebay motors and didnt come up with much, any suggestions?

Are they're any laws for riding a dirt bike in Nj?

I'm about to buy a cheap 300$ electric powered dirt bike that can go at a maximum speed of 15mph. But my father has to know If there are any laws in the state of Nj for riding this in the streets before I can get it. Do I need a permit? Do I have to wear a helmet? Can I drive it in the street? ETC.

That's considered a motor vehicle in NJ and does not conform to their standards. You can only use it on private property and not in any state parks or public roadways. Sorry to bring such bad news.
