My friend is visiting from New York and we are in Fort Collins. We are going to Denver tomorrow but I am not sure what to show him. So far the 16th street mall and City Park. What else is there to see? Is there some kind of skyscraper we can go on top of to see the city? Also I just moved to Fort Collins from Florida so I am not sure what cool things there are to do in Colorado besides going to Denver. Any other things or tows/cities to visit or things to see?

Denver is a vibrant city with plenty of attractions for visitors, plus a diverse collection of neighborhoods that can be attractions in themselves. Denver has many beautiful parks that are full of colorful gardens, meandering paths, crystal clear lakes, abundant wildlife and recreation opportunities. The city has a rich pioneer history, and there are plenty of museums where you can learn all about it. It's also a very environmentally conscious city, with one of the nationâs first municipal âGreen Fleetsâ, public transit vehicles using hybrid and alternative fuel and a city tree-planting initiative. Hop on a green bus, grab a bike or just walk around to discover Denver.
Late spring and early autumn are excellent seasons to do things outdoors in Denver. Besides the city's various lush green parks, there are plenty of outdoor festivals, sports, and gondola rides. (Yes, gondola rides.) In winter, the snow-peaked mountains in the distance and the crisp air on your cheeks make it the perfect time to tour Denver's famous breweries or check out the downtown arts scene.

What would be a good Bicycle that I can use to go to work and for exercise?

I want to save money on gas by not driving to work and I also want to exercise at the same time when i'm not working.
What would be a good bicycle that's under $200?
Maybe a bike from walmart?
As i've never been to a bicycle shop and I don't know if there are any near Brighton Colorado

Let me be blunt...brutally honest... What part of Wally World spells quality when they sell "bicycle shaped objects" in the friggin' TOY Dept.?!
$200 times three - possibly even four if you want a good road bike. Good bicycles of ANY type start in the $450 to $500 price range from one place only - a REAL bicycle shop.

Best "bang for the buck"? Go find a Raleigh or Giant dealer. Get a hybrid - some now call these "fitness bikes". For pure speed over longer distances (10 miles or more) get a road bike.
