Need hybrid bike suggestions?

flexybull

I am looking into getting a hybrid bike, and not sure what kind to get. I mostly want to use it for recreational riding, but if I get a little over zealous, I might test it out in a sprint tri over the summer (more for the actual finish, not for any records). I am looking for a lightweight, easily adjustable tires/seat/pedals to SBD clips bike, but also of good quality with an affordable price. Any suggestions on brands to look at, or types of brakes would be a great help! thanks

Answer
I bought a Raleigh Route 4. Raleigh tends to be a little less money than other comparable bikes.

Hybrid bikes with front suspension?

Q. Any one know a good hybrid bike with front suspensions around the price of $600

Answer
There are multiple good hybrid bicycles with front suspension for under $600 US.

Here is a list of some you can consider. Of course, you need to go ride each of these bikes to see which one feels best for your particular frame.

Giant Roam 3 = $525 MSRP

- lightweight AluXX aluminum frame
- 24 speed with Shimano Acera derailler
- Suntour Nex front suspension
- Giant is the world's largest bike manufacturer

Trek Shift 2 - $550 MSRP

- lightweight Alpha aluminum frame
- 21 speed with SRAM X3 derailler
- Suntour Nex front suspension

Trek & Giant are two of the top bicycle manufacturers in the world. Both make bicycles good enough to be used in the top races like the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia & Vuelta Spain as well as bicycles in the World Cup of Mountain Biking. Both are lightweight hybrid bicycles with front suspension.
