Dirt Bike Riding Lessons?

Hey, I recently became very interested in riding dirt bikes (for fun not competition). I was wondering if there were any websites that show places where I can take beginner lessons. Or if anyone knew or could find a place where I could take lessons in the Central Ohio area. Thanks!

Well done in your choice in dirt bikes, you can go places that other bikes can't.

Should you know to ride a bike before taking motorcycle lessons?

I grew up poor. I never had a first bike, and never learned. I'm 22 now, on my own and making/saving good money. I really love motorcycles. I've really been into them since I was 18. I want to take lessons and eventually get my own Harley. Do any experienced rider suggest I learn to ride a bike first, or is a motorcycle a completely different thing? I would imagine a bike is harder, with peddling and balance and all... Just curious.

Learning to ride a bicycle first is nice but not completely necessary.
Start looking into taking an MSF course this spring. They will teach you how to ride a motorcycle from scratch.
Once you do that look into getting a smaller used motorcycle for your first bike. Ride that for a few years until you are ready to buy what you want.
