What is the best way to do this if you don't have one of those snazzy watches that do it for you and its on a bike path (cant drive it to record distance). Plus my stride changes as i run, so that wouldn't work either. any ideas?

You enter your zip code, zoom in and find where exactly your house/location is and begin tracking. It's accurate because it comes from USATF the national standard for track and field.

How safe is the Fashion Island overpass for biking in San Mateo, CA?

I was wondering how safe the Fashion Island Blvd/Highway 101 overpass is. From the Google Maps and Local Live, I can't tell if there is a bike lane or an entire separated bike path. Does anyone have experiencing biking from the Hayward Station train to Bridgepointe using this overpass?

ooh you can bike over the overpass that parallel, freeway hwy 92, and yes it is safe,, there is alot of shops to shop, so therefore if you plan to buy alot of things, it is best to drive,
ooh no separate bike lane, pass norfolk, ride on road with cars, just be careful...
