Whats a good dirt bike for my friend?

Harley

I just got into dirt biking about a few months ago and I just love it all around. My friend, who I know would love the sport a lot but he doesnt live around here as frequiently, he goes to college a bit north and cannot really muster up the cash or anything to buy something brand new and expensive nor has the resources to ride it often. So I' wondering, what is a good back that would be about under 600 used thats pretty old but is a good learning bike? I'm thinking either a 85 big wheel or maybe a 100 or a really old 125. He would only really be riding it during winter break, spring break and the summer and it would be up to me to maintain. So something old, cheap, reliable and fun in general (and 2 stroke). It wouldnt have to be something that needs to last forever just something to help him decide if he wants to put more money into it and upgrade if he enjoys it.
