Hi everyone. I want to buy my first road bike, but being a student im on a tight budget - max £300. Im around 6ft with a 34 inch inseam and fairly fit. I currently power through commutes on a years old hybrid hand-me-down.
So far ive narrowed down to a couple of bikes:
Coyote big sur 2010 - £239

Carrera Tdf £300

Btwin triban 3 £205 second hand or £300 new

Im really struggling!! I want something that being a total beginner i can maintain and last for a long time, my main goal is commuting about 25 miles a day through the streets of london. So any ideas/views or other bikes.
Thanks for all the help

The reason you haven't got an answer sooner is because the question rambles on... Bottom line: If you want a REAL bicycle - see a REAL bicycle shop. Real bicycle shops do not sell toys & Toys 'R Us does not sell REAL bicycles. Neither does Halfords, Argos, Tesco, Asda, etc.
